Avalon Beach hoUSE

This existing house had a workable layout but lacked connection between the interior and rear outdoor areas. The clients wanted a level, functional entertainment space in conjunction with a new mineral pool that would capitalise on the sites intimate, tropical garden setting.

The brief for this new north-west facing tree house was to maximise natural light and ventilation, optimising the exposure to the view from it's elevated position whilst minimising the impact on the trees and surrounding bush.

The alterations and additions to this semi detached, original workers cottage were carefully planned with the aim at bringing much needed northern light into the new, modern rear addition and to maximise solar access to the new 1st floor parents retreat.

 

Bilgola Plateau Home

The brief for this outdated, dark brick and timber home was to design a light filled kitchen and living areas that was family friendly and inviting.

Bondi Beach House

This tired federation style, six bedroom family home in Sydney’s East presented a great opportunity to open up a myriad of small, dark spaces and create a contemporary flow that enabled the interior spaces to connect whilst preserving the original character of the building.
